I’ll stop depending on Marijuana(only smoke weekends), and I’m getting a part-time job.

1-5-23 Resolution reviesed: I’m working up to only on weekends. First step smoking after work, next after dinner, then after shower/bedtime took, which will turn into a midnight tok. I honestly made it to Tuesday night, after 3 pee leaks, it happens   when my bladder is full (your bladder fills while you are sleeping….) and has spasms, usually it happens as I’m on the way to the to the bathroom after sleeping.

Oh, and I’ll be putting more effort into adaywithNina.

My OTs (occupational therapist) have made some suggestions, thier “automatic” reponse to “where do you recommend I get a part time job at?”, was thier go to companies Disney or Publix for disabled workers.

Which honestly stressed me the fuck out.

Ma, dad, CC (sister), and DJ (brother) have all worked at and dealt with the drama at Publix, which is no better than Disney.

After Jillian sensed the stress from her ‘go to companies’, she said, “Didn’t you volunteer here ?’I nodded’.  Damion: “Maybe you can get a job here”

I need talk to the manager.

Next appointment is with Damion, we start discussing my employment abilities as he’s tortureing me(working the kinks out of my left scapula which is winged) and I’m telling him “I just washed my hair, you better not get that gel shit……” When he tells “I was thinking Publix might not be the best place for you”

We all joke about me getting in a fight if I’m working at Publix. Damion told me “as long as you shank them with your left I won’t be mad, terrified yes, but I’ll be proud.” We all laugh. To which I replied “I’ll make my therapy team proud and use southpaw and ankle.”

Left ankle is  bionic and fused at 90°, after all.

I don’t want to, but I will flex my third knee (quad).

I need to get  back to the gym.

Wait, if I get back into a gym routine, I might have to register my legs, when I’m training I can easily push out a set of 13 at 180 on tleg press.

WAIT! Where the fuck was I?  Oh yea, Publix or Disney wouldn’t be good for a “first” job.  Damion suggested I work at a library, it’s quite I can go at my own pace, people won’t be in a rush to get groceries.

Then I came up with the idea of being able to be a cafeteria lady at the retirement community!  I love old people!  They have so many stories!  Old people love me!  I could make so many people happy! 

I’ve yet to tell my ot team about my new idea, I hope that they don’t point out a reason that wouldn’t work.

On to 2023,  the year I turn 35 and  said we’ll have a baby………..
