Day 2 and 9 were absolutely amazing…..10 has been rough, I may have over done it, yesterday (day 9, I walked a LOT :D, in my Timbs)
Two days after the injection I got my tenth tattoo, then we hosted a cookout/Italian dinner for some family…. it was Domonic’s first time making sauce on his own.
See ma has been teaching/showing him how to make sauce using the recipe from Italy. He’s also learning how to make bread (I can’t kneed the dough with one hand, someone has to keep the tradition alive.
Oh, on day 2 I didn’t “crash by 5. tat @ 10, dinner @ 3= no crash, from overwhelming pain.
Day 3 I crashed hard, see the fast acting steroid had worn off (to be expected) so it was me alone trying to manage.
Oh, just in case you haven’t seen my power piece, for Sal. I’ll attach a pic and link 🙂

Day 7 is when the long lasting steroids start to take effect….6 to 8 weeks for full effect.
Day 9 there was a makeup Labor Day cookout. I was able to get my Timberland boots on, so I got to go!!
I needed that, I pushed to walk through the yard to get in the house, we ate, then walk to the tables outside chilled a bit sitting at the table , then walk to chill with the cousins….by this time I needed a”cousin walk”, thank God I didn’t have to walk.
Day 9= I crashed, after I showered, but not from pain, your girl was feeling like she just ran a 50k, it was great I should be back in therapy soon, ma has been talking to a new clinic. Before I had my thumb released I was working with this amazing OT (occupational therapist, they work on upper body and life/occupation skills) she’s opened her own neuro clinic, they don’t take my insurance, but we have autho so that they can get paid to treat me, I’ll just have a small payment…..this setting will be worth it, prepare for me to take off.
