Big changes coming

I got hung up on trying to come up with a story of the night Dom took me on a date, that he planned all on his own and I had no clue where we were going. Capone’s Dinner Show in Kissimmee, “Dinner with Vito”. Our server was Veto, a Sicilian from Brooklyn. I told him about A Day With Nina and I would be blogging about our experience…… The show was good, service was amazing, food was decent: sauce wasn’t Tata’s and there was too much, but decent.

Dom did his thing with planning a date night all on his own. Papi handled his business.

Okay, enough of the bullshit and on to my current situation.

Thursday was my last appointment with the occupational therapist I’ve been working with for the past two years, Damion.

That’s right, my professional relationship with Damion has come to an end. He’s transfering to another clinic to care for people who really need him, acute care. Only if I had D 16 years ago. It’s about to be 17 years since my brain injury.

Ok, so I haven’t been sure how to process/handle this situation, I’m at the point that I’m ready to say fuck being polite and fuck Celebration Hospital. They take advantage of the therapist they should be treasing. Tina (physical therapist: who’s really understood me and the unique way my body works for over a decade); is leaving this week..

Yea, I’m seriously preparing to leave also.

The only reason why we drive the extra distance is for the extraodanry therapist. Celebration is working everyone’s last nerve, pretty soon that drive will be pointless.

Seriously thinking about leaving Celebration. We were looking for an apartment close to Ma and Celebration Hospital, thinking I could continue therapy. Now we’re looking into buying a house in Polk County. Polk County is less developed than Osceola, so the real estate is cheaper, it’s close, and an easy ride to ma’s, not so convenient to Celebration Hospital…..

Monday after work we have a Zoom meeting with Patrick Ryan Williams, a Senior Loan Originator with Zillow, to find out how much we’ll qualify for….. we need a spacious master with an ensuite spacious bathroom (large standing shower is a plus, we’re preparing for some renovations), office, the floorplan has to be open so I can get around in my chair, outdoor laundry room, I want a screened in porch, and a small yard. Oh, a one car garage, I need a place to park my tricycle!

I’m hopeful for new (pre) construction, doubtful we’ll qualify. Dom has to repair his credit 🙄, if only I was involved. Before we got married he had a vehicle reposessed. Patrick was telling us this process involves a “credit simulator” that they use to improve/repair your credit to get you to where you need to be to qualify.

What we need is two bedrooms one bathroom.

What we really should have is a master, a guestroom with the potential of being a nursery and an office. Cause y’all know the minute we buy a tiny house is when our family status will change.

Here we go, another experience with Nina.
