So I’ma freaking idiot. Walter wasn’t dude with the hip hip playlist. Walter isan older white man, who is a float. See Rebecca is freezing her poor ass off in Canada.

Anyways: Walter’s playlist was Kc Kasem American Top 40…. we had a vibe. Remember I’m a “music junkie” who was raised by baby boomers….. So I have an ear for it all.

The important thing is we do vibe well, there was a time that I couldn’t walk with certain therapist cause of how they would try to change my gate.

But today I walked in from the car, warmed up on the bike by riding 1.2 miles in ten minutes, then walked to the mat so Walter could decompress my left hip, then it was muscle training! First squats, but he pushed me so I was really using my left leg, then on shaky legs to the bars to do toe taps, then I finished on my love! the leg prees.

he read my chart and was going to set the weight at 200, Buti requested 150, thought my legs were spent, the weren’t. I pressed 150 with ease, I gestured for him to add more weight, 175….I gestured for more weight, 200 👌🏾 that’s my sweet spot, I should be ready to increase soon. My goal is to press Dom! I think he’s 350.

To wrap it up

Walter is cool people and a good therapist…he saw my strengths and weaknesses, and instead of going by the book he saw potential to improve not change how I’m functioning.
